Google is the default search on every single android and even iphones. And you can't even remove it.
Telecoms are one of the most competitive industry in America. There are cell phone companies everywhere and prices keep falling.

ATT & Comcast control CNN, NBC, MSNBC — both are federally licensed telecom providers each with a monopolized subscriber base.

I don’t care for Google’s politics, nor do I rely on it for political information. Furthermore, I’m not obliged to pay for various subscriber fees. On the other hand, ATT subscribers are forced to subsidize ATT’s love affair with CNN. Comcast has its similarities.

Telecom’s involvement with the radically Left MSM is insidious and certainly destructive. Trump knows that — and that’s why he often calls MSNBC “Con-Cast”.

Not just that, but the base setup of Android phones generally require some kind of Google login/account setup to even function. GMaps is on most phones, not just Androids, and was even the default for Apple for a while because their maps sucked so bad.

If you own a Nest thermostat, visit YouTube at all, check traffic with Waze (Google Maps above), have pictures on Picassa, have a GMail email account, use SketchUp 3D modeling software (free), ever go to a bank or other secure website that uses the stupid reCAPTCHA login crap, use the Chrome browser or own a Chromebook, own a Motorola phone, or soon, use a FitBit, then you are being processed through a Google company. And those are just a few of the more commonly known names, Google owns a tons more of behind-the-scenes type companies; to where a huge portion of internet sites in some way used or currently use some kind of Google product. If you're on the internet, you've put data into Google's system.

If you're on FreeRepublic, you're interacting with Google. Either JimRob specifically, or his host uses Urchin for their site analytics, which is owned by, you guessed it, Google.
Don't believe it? Press F12 (On Pale Moon, FireFox, Chrome, and I think IE also, not sure about other browsers) to open up the page inspector / Developer Tools subwindow. That'll show you the html the site submits to your browser to display the page, and one of FR's scripts is "google-analytics.com/urchin.js".
