Suffolk county, Eastern Long Island went for Trump in 2016.
Unfortunately neighboring Nassau County ( closer to NYC ) went for Hillary in 2016 ... barely. Hopefully Nassau changes her mind this year.
Long Island has been hit by a string of MS-13 gang related shootings and killings prior to 2016 ( because Obama housed a lot of Central American young illegals in the once peaceful suburbs of Suffolk County ).
Trump and Pence went to Long Island and sent Federal help for local police to clean the entire place up.
The caravans we are seeing are unbelievable.
NY state, like MI and MN, has a red heart.
It’s the big cities that are blue, with their welfare consuming minorities, college-indoctrinated business people, illegal immigrants, pajama boys and Karens, unionistas and old hippies.

My wife was watching SBTN a few minutes ago. SBTN is a Vietnamese channel on our satellite TV. Needless to say, my wife is Vietnamese.
When I walked in, she was watching a Trump rally and all you could see Trump flags waving alone with ‘ol Stars and Stripes and the once proud South Vietnam flag.
Trump has the Vietnamese vote. You can bet your last dime on that.
too bad LI is not its own state. Maybe Republicans should start to float that idea. Let Dems have DC and PR and we can say we want these places.
