Yes, the mayor of Washington, DC officially named a two-block of 16th street near the White House ‘Black Lives Plaza’. The street signs were up the next day.

I think she did this as a response to President Trump’s daring to walk to the burnt church as well telling ‘mostly peaceful’ protesters not to mess with Jackson’s statue. And to further the point she had city workers paint ‘Black Lives Matter’ on the street itself.
