So why didnt they tell the radicals to take their bricks and frozen water bottles, shut up, and go home?
“So why didnt they tell the radicals to take their bricks and frozen water bottles, shut up, and go home?”
Because that would not sell their articles and keep them in the business. I can remember them lying on something with me in 1971 concerning their ratings for National Champion junior college level football. The top two were Fullerton State, #1, and College of the Sequoias, #2. COS played them after the article was out and beat Fullerton by 14 points in Bakersfield, Ca. (They said they couldn’t play in our stadium because we couldn’t seat all their fans. We brought more than they did to Bakersfield.)
When the ratings came out on Monday, they were still #1 in the state and nation and we were still #2. I sill don’t know what happened the previous Saturday when we not only outscored them, but beat them up. The AP lied. Since them I haven’t trusted them with the truth, any topic, any time.
