I taught Jr High for over 30 years. Homework/daily work is much more like ‘real life’ than are tests. For most people once they leave school with only a few exceptions, tests are a thing of the past. But we all have to deal with daily work that needs to be done on time, or we pay a penalty.
Go ahead, send that credit card payment late. Doing stuff on time is racist. So is that late charge.
