They would challenge every Democrat to a duel. When all the Democrats were dead, they’d start horse-whipping the Republicans.
Weird thing about duels. I was trained to be a poll worker today. I had to take an oath affirming my allegiance to both the federal and our commonwealth’s constitution. That seemed reasonable enough but then I had to swear that I had not engaged in a duel with deadly weapons, nor had served a second in such a duel in the last two years. Nothing about being a citizen or felon, just that I wasn’t involved in duels. Strange.
