I LOVE drier climes. We’re in humid, sauna heated SE TX.

I grew up in dry heat out in the Palm Springs, California area. I was a lot younger than and 100 degrees was nothing. 110 degrees was starting to get warm. 120 degrees was hot even with the dry heat.

I must admit a dry heat is much better than the humid sauna that you experience.

Why shower? ...LOL. So happy the A/C was invented.
