Nicks is one of many in the music world that I was once a fan of, but now eschew. The more I learn about her, the more repulsive she seems.
Anecdotal but someone told me they knew some fans of hers who saw her in some store and approached her for an autograph and she lost it going on a rant. Maybe she was having a bad day (she probably had a lot of those according to this article) but the old adage never meet your heroes comes to mind.
