I’m surprised....I would have expected it to be similar to Truckee in regards to weather with it being close to the mountains. I’ve been through on I-80 a LOT when I was driving a truck and been stuck in Reno because the interstate was closed due to snow. That’s as close as I can remember getting to there.
Might have to keep this one in mind; Californians moving in might make me change it! LOL
