They will not be able to end the EC, but states are beginning to work around it with the granting of a states electoral votes to whoever wins the popular vote. Or so I understand.

They've reached their high-water mark on that legislation.

Colorado has a ballot measure to actually rescind it. I heard Arizona, both Carolinas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana and Ohio will vote against it.

No new proposals in any state legislature at this time--beyond what's on the map above (from July 2020).

Even if all the states on the map approved it, it would be hit hard with lawsuits of disenfranchising voters.

Expect any Red state that switches their vote to Blue to have serious challenges in the courts.

I think Amy and the conservatives on the SCOTUS would say "Yeah, nah. No end run around the Constitution, nor making individual's votes worthless."
