As we get closer to the actual election day, and the pollsters start using likely voters instead of registered voters to cook up forecasts, what I don't hear is:

"As a result of our polling, Biden will get X electoral votes, and Trump will get Y electoral votes." Because, in the American form of government, it's electoral votes that decide the election for President, not the popular vote.

And every time I see a pollster on TV, I would much like to see a little blurb across the bottom on the screen showing what that pollster predicted 4 years ago, so I can get a perspective on why they guy's eyes are turning brown. If I can listen to some announcer read 30 seconds of small print every time a commercial for Jardiance or Eliquius comes on, I can listen to the fine print about how pollster 1 is going to be more accurate this time.

Good post. We need to remember the bullschiff when we hear it.

Thank God that our Founding Fathers had the foresight to put the Electoral College into place.

It will take an amendment to remove it, and guess what Lefties? That ain’t happening.

I expect lots of rage at the EC after Nov 3rd and refreshed demands it be gone.

Without 2/3rd of States approving, they can shout and cry, but it’s not happening.
