Many years ago I came to NYC to volunteer for the (then about to be) Senator Buckley campaign.
There were thousands of us all over the city—hard core conservatives.
Everybody was friendly and in high spirits, and ready to do whatever it took to get the senator elected.
There are many great New Yorkers—they are just not the ones getting the media coverage, so many folks here don’t know about them.
There are three people I know who don’t know each other from whom I can speak to for reason, truth, wisdom and clarity oh and laughs about politics. They are New Yorkers. By birth. Multigenerational
All women, too.
There used to be more but they are gone either by age or osama bin laden
They are more honest and skeptical than my military or Texas cohorts so willing to say trump is a narcissist or that Biden is a nice guy. B l e c h
I despise hearing from people who do not know that there are very few decent New Yorkers.
