The group was made up of 16 men and three women between 17 and 45 years old. Border Patrol agents said they were Mexican nationals suspected of trying to enter the U.S. illegally.


In that San Clemente Island is a US Navy live firing range they could have just left them there and added some realism to the Navy's exercises.

Should have given them a free cruise to Cabo San Lucas and dropped them off there.

If they were the only people on the island, they should have declared independence and settled.

Then declare war. Then surrender and accept U.S. aid.
