Plenty of information out there about the so-called “renewable energy”. What a joke! Even some of the most conservative states are delving into the use of it. Makes no sense at all, because you still must have conventional power plants if you are at all interested in reliable electric power. Only stands to reason if you try to use both it must cost more. That’s only part of it, though. People, and especially those with influence over the “renewable” power projects need to know what they are committing everyone to. If you run both conventional sources & the “renewables” one or the other must at least partially shut down periodically & this is not efficient nor does it save any money. Almost all of our electricity must be supplied as continuous frequency alternating current. Read up on this & then decide if you want it & vote accordingly for those who determine/control of our energy output.

In the UK, “low windmill output” has been a problem for the National Grid.

Conservative states have delved careful into mining federal largeness around wind. Indiana utilities build NG peaking plants and wind plants at the same time at about the same nameplate capacity as ILL builds windfarms and plans on decommissioning nuclear plants.

If someone is going to give you a wind farm for free over 20 years...take it. If you neighbor is liberal, sell him electricity at the premium he required.

I encourage conservative utility companies to rape liberal states (with utility prices) of every dollar they can, while improving capacity for their state to run industry the world needs.
