#neversasse

Ben Sasse is a goofy clown that loves to hear himself talk. If he cannot see how reckless his comments are before the election, he's a complete idiot. Does he think Biden/Kamala would be better for the USA?

He looked like an idiot before the senate confirmation hearings. He went on about baseball and the Houston Astros history of cheating. He's trying to make himself appear likable because he's got eyes on making an national run for office. I say #neversasse. He's no better than McCain, Mitt, or those other swamprats. He may as well be making political ads for the DNC. He's a damn fool and a traitor to conservatives.

If he ever thinks of getting on a national ticket, he needs to remember that there are a lot of us #neversasse.

This stupid narcissistic opportunist kid senator is a creep. Fortunately his entreaties to vote against Trump will fall on deaf ears in one of the most Republican states in the nation. Unfortunately, he was not primaried. Maybe, next time, I hope.

Yeah, right, Sasse. Trump giving up his life to “profiteer from the presidency” is like Hugh Hefner taking on a Nebraska senate seat just so he could “meet hot chicks”.

Perhaps I should look into the residency requirements for Nebraska. My vote is worthless here in the Soviet of Washington but might have some value in unseating him.

Guys like Ben Sasse are why I will never support the GOP unconditionally. They sometimes roll out people I can stomach, like Trump, Cruz, Hawley, Cotton. More often, they disgorge total losers like Sasse, Paul Ryan, John Kasich, Mitt Romney, Jeff Flake, all the other NeverTrump, NeverStandForAnything, NeverWinAnything types that the GOP specializes in.

Sasse is a former college president and got the job at a young age. College presidents are in the habit of making hollow, moralistic statements, and assuming that somebody is listening to them.

Also, he seems like the guy who did all of the conservative movement seminars, internships, and cruises, and is now appalled that someone like him isn't in power.

Having degrees from both Harvard and Yale doesn't help either.

Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., ripped President Trump in a phone call with constituents, saying the commander-in-chief "kisses dictators' butts," "sells out our allies," mistreats women and "spends like a drunken sailor."

Anti-navyism?

I don’t think Nebraska farmers, their families and all people in the farm support industries and their families will much appreciate Sasse’s spewage about Trump.

It’s like talking trash about coal in WV.

IF I could have a sensible conversation with Sasse, I would simply want to ask him - Hey Benny, Tell me - how do you think that half of the American masses have been believing all of the lies and crap since at least the Clinton period?? Are you that naive to really want to be a classic Republican with his head in the sand and ignore the Cultural impact that TV and Media has had to push the lies to a delusional people? Why do you think the gaslighting continues?

Trump knows the power of the medium, and has been a. paying attention to it and b. using it far more masterfully than any other Republican. That’s not being narcissistic. That’s aware of the culture we live in.

Let’s see: The GOP stands to lose at least three senate seats (McSally in AZ; Collins in ME; and Gardner in CO) and probably five (Graham in SC and Ernst in IA), with only 1 assured pick-up (Alabama), and a possible second pick-up (Michigan). I would much prefer to lose Sasse and keep Ernst. Either way, either the GOP survives with a razor-thin majority or it loses the senate.
