A New York tabloid’s puzzling account about how it acquired emails purportedly from Joe Biden’s son has raised some red flags. One of the biggest involves the source of the emails: Rudy Giuliani.
Giuliani has traveled abroad looking for dirt on the Bidens, developing relationships with shadowy figures, including a Ukrainian lawmaker who U.S. officials have described as a Russian agent and part of a broader Russian effort to denigrate the Democratic presidential nominee.
Yet Giuliani says foreign sources didn’t provide the Hunter Biden emails. He says a laptop containing the emails and intimate photos was simply abandoned in a Delaware repair shop and the shop owner reached out to Giuliani’s lawyer.
Frustration about Giuliani in the West Wing has long run rampant, with those around the president warily watching Giuliani’s efforts to bring down the Bidens and fearful they could boomerang back on the president.
Giuliani was central to advancing a discredited theory that Ukraine, not Russia, had interfered in the 2016 election. His shadowy efforts to get Ukraine to launch investigations into the Bidens helped create the impeachment case against Trump.
Some around Trump fear that the case being made against the younger Biden has been weakened because Giuliani has become its face.
The Trump campaign has been pushing allegations of corruption against the Bidens for more than a year, with the president advancing the widely discredited theory that the vice president sought to force out Ukraine’s top prosecutor to protect his son from scrutiny. Though Trump associates believe a case can be made that Hunter enriched himself by selling access to his father, they fear that Giuliani’s lack of credibility will cause the allegations to implode.

Let’s ignore that Rudolph Giuliani is one of the foremost authorities on corruption in United States of America. His experience with corruption is second to none.

When you can’t defend the Bidens because of factual evidence of corruption, if not treason (selling out the USA to Communist China, our sworn enemy), you attack the messenger, Rudy. It’s not going to work this time. It will NOT detract from the ‘base’ vote & this is essentially a base election (who can turn out more of their base).

1) Ignore it.
2) (A new entry) outright censor it
3) Downplay and dismiss it as debunked.
4) When 1-3 fail scream Russia and attack the story as a foreign conspiracy pushed by a Rooooskie Agent.
Anywho, I love the smell of spin in the morning, it smells like, desperation.
Yeah because a guy who fixed new York and took down the mafia doesn’t have any credibility. But Chris wallace does? The media has a couple more days to dig the hole deeper before it becomes undeniable and they are now part of the story by trying to surpress it. Beautiful.

I would argue that the media is already part of the story. This is one story they couldn’t ignore and, in an irony, when Facebook and Twitter censored it, they put the story on steroids.

Mike Lee was on FOX the other morning - he said he knew nothing about anything being sent to him until the news broke a couple of hours previously. He said he gets thousands of emails ... staff was looking into it & he more or less promised to come back with an answer.
All the kook emails Senators get - their staff sees this stuff & I think someone just thought it was the usual cr@p & it went into File 13. Rudy said his lawyer was concerned that it was some fraud/kook or whatever & had the guy with the hard drive “vetted” first ... I think Rudy also vetted him.

Yeah, what does he have to lose here because Nov 4 he is history and perhaps can be roped into an obstruction charge to boot. I'd love to see that slim ball head down the tubes and take his predecessor with him.
I haven’t finished watching it, but last night, Tucker said that he had proof that the emails were accurate.
