Ultimately, it may end up at the US Supreme Court and the Dems will lose. The US Supreme Court has already ruled (in the 2000 Bush versus Gore fight), that only state leglislstures can make election laws. Some random judge can't make or change election laws on the hoof at will like that.
And Republicans control the state legislature in Michigan.

You are certainly correct on all counts. That doesn’t mean that judges won’t try to legislate from the bench to support the Left’s agenda. I don’t know enough about the Michigan Supreme Court to understand what they will do.
