Are they a publisher/private company?

OR

Are they a platform/the modern, digital 'public square' that our Founders never even dreamed of in the 18th century?

Possibly but, as I understand it, that could only lead to civil actions. They could not otherwise be compelled to stop their censorship practices the way government could.

The obvious (but by no means simple) answer to all of this is for conservatives to start our own social media platform.
