George Soros is intensely interested in Ukrainian energy, so much so that he created an “anti-corruption agency” in Ukraine with many members also being part of the State Dept., one being Yovanovitch, who testified in the impeachment trial.
Soros used this “anti-corruption” group to corner the energy market in his favor by “fighting the corruption” (in other words, getting investigators who were looking into people he supported, fired). This is why Shokin (the man investigating Burisma and Hunter), when he was let go, the excuse was made that he was corrupt because many on the Soros “anti-corruption group” said he was.
Then he was replaced by a Soros yes-man Yeshenko (I think is his name), an engineer who had spent years in prison for corruption...now made a prosecutor. This is the fellow Biden, in his famous video, said was “solid.”
I can tell you, it was probably Soros telling Biden to get Shokin fired. That was the meeting. Biden told Poroshenko to do it several times, but Poroshenko reneged because Shokin was a decent prosecutor. It wasn’t until Biden threatened to pull the loan guarantee that Poroshenko moved.
