Perhaps there are automatic triggers (certain words or phrases) that lock an account until a human takes a look and then either proceeds with next steps (jail, etc.) or removes the lock if it was a mistaken lock.

But, an admin of facebook did post on Twitter that facebook was indeed limiting the distribution of the NY Post article while fact checkers (one of them Washington Post) confirm the “truthfullness” of their competitor.
