I was mostly in agreement with the article. But Brown is on record apologizing to the “gay community” on behalf of “us Christians.” I don’t trust him, even when sometimes he’s right, stopped clock style.

Let’s not be too hard on Dr. Brown. There have been people in church that I know of who have said hurtful things against gays, even condemning them to hellfire. If you want to win people to Christ, you don’t use such language. That I think is what Brown is apologizing for.
But this entire article shows that he is NOT apologizing for his beliefs and showing the gay community that their condition is NOT immutable ( contra Senator Mazie Hirono ).
