In a word: no. This state is going for Trump again.
I CAN’T WAIT to vote our asshat governor Roy Cooper OUT of office. Almost nobody here has a good thing to say about him. Cal Cunningham is toast also.

I live here. It’s not about Forest or Tillis. It’s that Roy Cooper is hated and Cal Cunningham ruined any chance he had by going Jody on an enlisted man’s wife in his own wife’s bed...for a week.
They may steal NC, I cant see them winning honestly. I dont believe cooper did last time. I was watching waiting for McCrory to announce victory and around midnight he came out and said that more votes had been found and we would have to wait until they were tallied. I knew right then that cooper had stolen it.

Latinos don’t vote as a group, unlike Blacks. Blacks are also waking up, albeit only 10-20%, but some are waking up.....the successful ones.
Trump won by over 2 in 2016 and the registrations have seen Rs gain net +nearly 200,000 since then.
So, no.
Black men. Yes. Black women. No.
Neither Forest nor Tillis has the slightest idea how to win an election. Cooper and Cunningham, however, may well be able to lose it.
Don’t count on Cunningham’s affairs taking him down. Voters think “everybody does it.” But the stupid Republican consultants will try to exploit it rather than go after him on his socialist ideology.
Charlotte has always been a Democrat area.
Trump may pull Tillis and Forest through in spite of themselves.
President Trump got twice the percentage of black votes that Romney got, and the President will get more this year.
I liken it to air coming out of a tire. It seeps, very slowly at first, and then one day, you have a flat tire. As Hemingway put it, “Gradually, then suddenly.”
Right now, we’re still at gradually.
