I wonder what the power requirements will be for charging a group of electric tanks. Seems like they’d need more than a towed diesel powered generator.

Every Combat Bde will have an attached Engineer Bde who's function will be to build solar and wind power plants in the Combat Bde's rear area.

I suspect that they might get a quick recharge from, of all things, a suitcase-sized capacitor.

Because of railgun technological development, capacitors that would have formerly required a flatbed rail car to carry have been reduced to suitcase small. I’ve no idea of their weight or charge storage stability decay.

But this means they could be charged in the rear area, ideally with a nuclear reactor, then sent forward with enough *mojo* to propel a Navy Cruiser for an hour.
