But let me clarify, DEMOCRATS would elect any idiot. They do it all the time.
Here is my theory about current polling:
It has become harder and harder to poll correctly since the demise of the landline. This has been true for awhile, but for some reason this manifests itself in an odd way. The polls seem to more closely reflect the outcome when the democrat is winning than when the republican is winning.
The above would be true in any year IMO, but covid has “possibly” completely destroyed the ability to poll correctly for the moment.
Think about it... who answers polls? people who are home.
Who is most likely R or D to be at home all the time now? those TERRIFIED of Covid whether they be R or D. And if that weren’t enough... the poor people trapped in their homes by their own fear.. are DESPERATE for ANY KIND of human contact... even if that contact is with a pollster!
Anyway, that’s my theory.
