I suspect Mr. Carville is doing what I did in 1996, 2008 and 2012: I tried to get excited and convince myself that our candidate was going to win. I felt crushing defeats each time, although deep down I knew the candidate was weak. The Dems are doing the same thing, and they’ll be crushed (and enraged) when they lose again.
100 million cheatable ballots out there. Lots of reports of three ballots coming to the home of people who aren’t eligible to vote at all. I get his confidence.
I think we’ll win, but we could lose. That said, giving any weight to this statement by Carville is like being unsettled by a pregame prediction of victory by an opposing coach.

Doesn’t work that way. The “pre-counted” as you say are totals that EVERYONE can see that are reported at the end of early voting. For example, in 2016 in FL SpeedyinTexas, Ravi, and others here knew EXACTLY what the D lead in FL was (88,000 as I recall). We (and all the media dipweeds) also knew . . .

The polls of course aren’t right—but the cheating might be.

Trump needs to hold AZ, FL, NC, OH. Then, take any one of PA, MI, WI, MN and he’s over the top. That assumes he’s not upset in some unexpected state like GA or IA.

I believe the polls are horribly wrong this year, but not because of most of them being fake, but because they are mostly polling people terrified at home of Covid which is distorting the numbers.
