The debates should have 2 moderators. One nominated by the Democrat, the other nominated by the Republican. The Democrat moderator asks questions of the Republican, with the Democrat doing a rebuttal. The Republican moderator asks questions of the Democrat, with the Republican doing a rebuttal. Time is divided equally between the two sides.
What could be fairer than this?

Questions handed to candidates two days in advance.
Candidates sit in separate rooms.
Every two minutes a question appears on the screen for 10 seconds. Candidate then has 110 seconds to respond.

I have been saying since the early Nineties that Republicans should refuse to participate in these farces, because that is all they are.
Farces.
But then, I said the same thing about the idiot Press Club event. I have watched a few of those and a good natured roasting can be taken in fun, but when you watch the difference in how Democrats are treated, versus the venom that Republicans are subjected to “in fun”, it isn’t something that should be encouraged by attending.

Does Trump get political/campaign advice and direction from family members? I’m not talking about his overall policy decisions and directions but political decisions, it just seems like over and over he gets sideswiped by things that we on FR can guess from miles away.
