"Real Time" host Bill Maher took a moment on his show Friday night to slam his Democrat-controlled home state of California and sound the alarm over the "exodus" that is taking place.
During an interview with Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., Maher acknowledged that local issues were not in the congressman's "domain" but said he still felt the need to "b---- a little bit."
"There is an exodus," Maher said before reading from his notecard.

And let’s not forget. Newson appointed a team to research what reparations would look like. A team costs money. And any financial monies dispersed from such a decision to pay them ALSO comes straight out of our taxes in California.
By ‘them’ I mean reparations for slavery.
LOL.
I grew up in California, went to college here and have spent my whole life here. My house goes up for sale next spring - I’m working from home in Silicon Valley and it’s just as easy to work from home from Texas. California has been run solely by the Democrats effectively since Pete Wilson left office (I won’t count Schwarzenegger as anything other than a liberal, regardless of what he ran as). The state is no longer recognizable - this stopped being Reagan Country sometime in the ‘90s and morphed into a bizarre amusement park for leftists.
We left in ‘81, saw the writing on the wall.
For the last few years or so, he’s been waking up to the high taxes he’s paying. Even a blind squirrel is right twice a day.
Hope you can find a buyer
So joe ben and the exodus are the reason for the high taxes, what a dope not the crime bosses handing out the cash and filling thier pockets
There are billions of buyers - from Asia.
And there will not be any red states left in the near future....democrats win by fleeing what they created...to start over
Much of LA County is now Asian-Chinese buying mostly real estate and living quarters. If Prop 15 passes to hit commercial real estate by reassessing properties (Going around Prop 13 protect) watch commercial real estate tank further. Perfect set-up for the Chinese to move in on the fire sales.
VOTE NO ON PROP 15 & 19
So he just keeps attacking the very politicians who want to do something about it.
By 2018 there was only 1 of the inlaw families left, waiting for his 30 years at CHips so he can retire.
Almost 20 FAMILIES have fled CA from Thousand Oaks, Newbery Park, Camarillo, etc since 2008 for CO, WY, NV, ID, AZ, etc.
When my FIL unpacked his modest 1950s and 60s gun collection in ID, we counted more that 1000 years in CA prison due to magazines, ammo, and "banned" semi autos....now perfectly legal in ID.
Luckily for those states they moved to, they picked up a bunch of conservative, pro gun, pro life voters.
He will. MY inlaws sold their 1500 sq foot house in Thousand Oaks, CA for 800k in 3 days 2 years ago with multiple bidders. (after listing it for 725k).
Their neighbor was fixing up a smaller home next door and hoping to get 750k 2 years ago and sold last month for 900k.
Notice in this exchange that not once does Maher question his vote for a Democrat. Leftists especially in California act as if there are no political alternatives.
Its this very same attitude that has these blue state refugees not changing their voting habits once they transplant to a red state.
Theres truly a level of mental illness in this way of thinking...
Good one!
I wonder what the archaeologists of the future will think when they excavate the ruins.
Yes - unless Americans breed, it is inevitable.
The new upper classes we’ve created in Asia, as well as their underclasses we entice here, are the only people for whom CA, NJ, or NY is a step up.
Many Americans who remember the “before-times” see them as nothing desirable anymore - just a non-stop stream of bills, fees, regulations, taxes, etc..
It is impossible for them to understand that the Golden Goose can be killed by their policies. They don't want it to be true...so it can't be.
