New York unions have always been corrupt, like our politicians. Few get punished. Shellie Silver longtime Assembly speaker I believe is still out of jail after his conviction. Senate Minority leader Joe Bruno who passed last Wednesday was convicted of honest services but then let go because of corrupt court ruling.
If you assume they are all corrupt, like the media, you’re correct.
