It will— in a similar case recently, 8 justices ruled that the Fed courts can’t change the rules in the middle of the game— measures responding to COVID are the purview of the state legislatures, not the Courts.

I surmise that the Supreme Court will coalesce around that principle and prohibit late in the game changes to election law and procedure. The result may be a relatively brief and unanimous opinion to that effect from the Court.
