Yes, but they are a bit more prudent regarding when it is time to actually pull the trigger on such stuff. We no longer live in a world where people can even entertain this sort of nonsense. The only violence that is justified is self defense. The rioters and looters haven’t figured that out yet.

True. More than that, it needs people willing to operate completely alone. S.S.S.

I'm not willing to say that it's time to take direct and irrevocable action yet. Frankly, I am not entirely sure that the powers that be will push things to that point. Regardless, operating in groups, no matter how small is not going to be effective given modern sigint and other tools the government has. Everyone should read "Unintended Consequences". There are good ideas there, as well as bad ones (it's a story, so everything always works FOR the main characters- also it's kinda dated).
