I agree with what Larry Elder is saying, but this particular quip didn't upset me. I took it in the "Chuck Norris joke" kind of way.
In the Obama era there would have been plenty of compassion for him and had there been any question about his debate performance you had better believe that the “but he was coming down with COVID” excuse would be played up to the extreme.
