At the end of such a discussion, you have to discuss a number, then relate it to tax increases (particularly upon industry), so this would be the final blast to direct all industry to leave the state.
The guys standing there and having expected reparations to occur? They will be extremely disappointed, and sue the government into delivering it.
I don’t see California existing in ten years...it’ll just be a clutter of empty buildings and homeless people camping out.
Can you imagine the effects of an inrush, say the size of metro Atlanta, of African Americans migrating to California to receive “reparations”?
