BS setup questions from the get go. over 200,000 Americans have not died from COVID. The died from their underlying serious medical conditions.

The problem I am seeing is that Pence isn't making that clear.

Had to turn it off after the first exchange. Initial question was worded to favor Democrats. Harris came out aggressive but left a good opening for Pence to take her down. He responded with feel good talking points instead of addressing: the 210,000 figure is largely considered to be inaccurate, Obama and Biden failed greatly when faced with a pandemic but were lucky it was not highly lethal, and a disproportionate number of deaths occurred in Democratically controlled states and cities. Where is Ted Cruz as a debater when you need him?

Harris is nervous. She’s delivering in a monotone mumble. Pence should let her mumble as no one will remember what she sad. Same thing when she attacks. She sounds unhappy and whiny and I don’t take it too seriously.

Pence should give the answers and deliver the attacks he’s prepared to give, even if they don’t directly answer the question.

I think that VP Pence is doing very well. He is gracious and polite but he makes his points.

Pence needs to step up and start calling her out.

Pence CANNOT be the presidential candidate for 2024. He has no fight like Trump, and is too milquetoast. I like his conservatism, but it takes much more than that in this day and age.
