A Postal Service mail carrier in New Jersey was arrested Wednesday for allegedly discarding mail, including 99 general election ballots.

Nicholas Beauchene was charged with one count of delay, secretion, or detention of mail and one count of obstruction of mail. He faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for the delay charge, and up to six months in prison and a $6,000 fine for obstruction.

The discarded ballots were addressed to residents of West Orange, N.J., U.S. Attorney Craig Carpentino said.

According to documents filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, approximately 1,875 pieces of mail were recovered from dumpsters in North Arlington and West Orange between Oct. 2 and Oct. 5. They were slated for delivery in Orange and West Orange.

Prosecutors allege that Beauchene was the only mail carrier assigned to deliver to those addresses. He is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Newark federal court.

Aside from the ballots, prosecutors said 627 pieces of first class mail, 873 pieces of standard class, two pieces of certified mail, and 276 campaign flyers for West Orange Town Council and Board of Education candidates were recovered.

Multiply that by 99 times and it would be fair.

Wanna stop this crap? Amputate one arm.... on television.

With a rusty 18 tooth hacksaw blade.

The national Letter Carriers’ Union has endorsed Plugs. One can only imagine what that could mean at post offices nationwide!

It doesn’t matter, they’re will be wholesale slaughter of Republicans by fraud in November.
A purely Democrat NJ city already had a 20% fraud vote by mail election.
The American people are getting what they deserved.

You should just crawl under the covers and cry.
What a pathetic defeatist.

This guy was from Kearny, and dumped some in North Arlington.

This system of voting is ripe for abuse - and our postal system is increasingly makework for useless people. He dumped a lot of other stuff as well...

Hey Irish, how you doing? So this guy lives in Kearny and dumped the stuff in North Arlington? Sure NA was happy about that. When I lived in the old burg folks in North Arlington didn’t much care for folks from Kearny.

Everything is fine; thanks. Hope all is well down there also!

Looks like these things were dumped a few blocks north of me behind the Foodtown on Schuyler Ave/Bellville Turnpike; the odd thing is his route was in West Orange; that is where the mail was supposed to be delivered. I think its more of a reflection on mail carriers than Kearny (at least I hope it is).

Nowadays some of the Americans fleeing the Kearny taxes live in North Arlington. When I was younger I just remembered that town as having a lot of old people; their high school also had almost a farm schedule - they went to school from 8 to 2.

I got busted in North Arlington once. Drinking in public. Think it was ‘78 or ‘79. Paid a fine. Judge didn’t like ‘’Kearny kids’’ coming into ‘’his town’’.

The cops there were strict; when I was younger they had bought a Bronco to chase the Kearny kids that would ride alongside the train tracks in the meadows on dirtbikes. They didn’t have much luck.

Compared to Kearny, NA had a lot less “wild space” for kids to play.
