It won’t be a civil war. Most people are too lazy to even get up out of their easy chairs. Most of the fighting will be from the keyboard commandos...you know the one’s “I’m prepared to go toe to toe with them evil doers...right after I get my nap in..:)
Face it folks...very little is going to happen, it’s all hype to keep people stirred up and to get them to vote for the person who promises to not let anything bad happen.
BTW...if you are stocking up on stuff why in the he** would you advertise that fact on a msg board like this one??
Might as well put a sign in your front yard saying “I’ve got stuff you want...come get it”. You won’t last long no matter how much of a bada** you might think you are....there are wolves out there, with military and tactical training, that will take you out in a heartbeat if they really want your “stuff”.

You’re right of course. However talking about stocking up here is no big deal, they’d have to figure out who you are.
If, and it’s a big IF for the reasons you name, there were a civil war, it won’t be blue vs. gray style. It will be bands of snot nosed kids financed by the left tearing the country down as best they can. At some point, the level of discomfort may be enough to cause a backlash. Maybe, who knows?
Or, maybe well just all slip into the grip of socialism without a fight, just a wimper.

Good point. Keeping your stash secret works until you start cooking up a pot of split green peas and canned ham. Your starving neighbors will notice.
Now, if you’re cooking up a pot of delicious stew in a like-minded community of 20,000 heavily armed patriots, then you won’t have a problem.
