I was thinking maybe the same thing. Throw a fit and resign.
"The President has ordered me to release unredacted intelligence documents that will impact ongoing investigations and put agents at risk. I refuse to jeopardize the integrity of the FBI or put agents in danger, and thus will not be releasing these highly sensitive documents".
Refuse to accept the resignation.
