The men seek to hold the agents personally responsible for what they allege was a pattern of harassment designed to coerce them into becoming government informants in violation of their religious beliefs.

While government shouldn't coerce anyone to betray their faith, this raises questions about their loyalty to the US and Islam.

They're being represented by the Center for Constitutional Rights, which has a history of representing terrorists: When Muhammad finally obtained lawyers, the FBI stopped trying to recruit him to be an informant. It was only when CUNY CLEAR, the Center for Constitutional Rights, and Debevoise & Plimpton filed this case that the U.S. government told Muhammad he was no longer on a No-Fly List.: Muhammad Tanvir
