Trump entered the WH knowing zip,nada, nothing, zero about how things worked. That aside he had to depend on advisers like every CEO does. The problem with this is unlike in his own business where he had family to advise him (who knew the business) along with his own solid knowledge of the business itself, he had neither when he entered the WH in 2017.
He had no idea how bad it was or would get, something he has admitted on more than one occasion and despite everything which has been thrown at him he has accomplished more than any other President in my history and I voted in my first election in 1960.
