On Friday afternoon, a 61-year-old Sedona woman, Julie Ann Engsberg, was cited and released for the theft of President Donald Trump and Senator Martha McSally campaign signs.

According to Cottonwood Police, the theft was reported on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 by a resident who saw Engsberg take some campaign signs from the corner of West Mingus Avenue and Airport Road and put them in her vehicle and drive away.

The resident followed Engsberg to Sedona where she made a stop at a local business. The resident was able to get pictures of the signs in the back of Engsberg’s vehicle. She was followed to her residence where video was taken of Engsberg removing the signs from her vehicle and placing them along the side of her garage.

Cottonwood investigators went to Engsberg’s residence on Friday, October 2, to follow-up with the report. The campaign signs were recovered. Engsberg admitted to taking the signs and claimed she stole the signs because she was going to put them up somewhere else. In addition, she was going to purchase “patriotic stickers” to decorate the signs. She also said her neighbor is a Trump supporter so she thought about giving one of the signs to him.

Engsberg was cited and released for tampering with political signs; a misdemeanor.

I believe that in many and perhaps most smaller rural towns that there are often more guns than people and more dogs than guns. These are not insignificant reasons why crime of any sort is usually lower than any city.

I think Trump supporters are buying all sorts of huge flags, banners and bumper stickers this cycle rather than putting out measly little yard signs. I see a few B/H yard signs, but they are overwhelmed by all the HUGE Trump flags and banners on cars everywhere (North Idaho).

“I hope Jerome is OK!”

Jerome is a liberal town. Two Biden and one BLM sign. No Trump signs.

“Doctor of Medical Qigong (DMQ)”

Think it means “Doctor of Medical DingDong” when translated. Guess that’s Chinese for “Quack”.

Sedona is full of these idiots. Middle to old aged women wearing tin foil pyramids on their heads listening to wind chimes while they spend their alimony or inheritance trust payments into oblivion.

Oh and judging from the pictures, there’s probably 400 cats in her house and it should be condemned.

I’ve seen a smattering of Trump signs around the Kierland area, near where I live, and also a few Biden/Harris No vandalism “yet”. Of course, when I do see a Biden sign, the car in the driveway always seems to be adorned with an out of state plate, particularly California. Lot’s of them are recent relocates, since they haven’t even changed plates yet.

Well, my son just moved back here from living in Ca the last 13 years. We took a walk through a new housing development in Fountain Hills (pretty nice houses on small lots on the sides of mountains).

He noticed that many of these houses had cars with Ca plates in the driveways.

My son still has his Ca plates, but his car is in our garage. So I guess besides the shy Trump voter theory, we also have his car as evidence of a shy Trump car.
