Went into quarantine after they both tested positive, developed bi-lateral pneumonia very quickly and had a heart attack on the way to the ER. I watched him being taken from the house and his wife crying. I thought he was dead when they wheeled him out. He was so pale. My sister-in-law’s family all got COVID. Two teachers at their school died of COVID-related issues.

I don’t recall you screaming your head off over the cumulatively greater losses from the flu over a couple year time span. And with the flu, you don’t count as a flu death unless it was your primary cause of death, so tons of people never show up in stats are having died from it, unlike with COVID where if you died of a car accident and had COVID, you died of COVID.
