Some prominent Donald Trump-haters — including “The Wire” actor Dominic West and a former spokeswoman for Hillary Clinton — are openly rejoicing over the president catching COVID-19.
West, 50, told “Good Morning Britain” on Friday that he felt “joy” at the news of Trump’s illness.
Ex-spokeswoman Zara Rahim, who has also worked for Barack Obama and Vogue magazine, said in a since-deleted tweet that she “hopes he dies.”
“Well I did slightly leap in the air with joy,” West told “GMB,” appearing on the show via video link from his home in Wiltshire, the Daily Mail reported.
“I think the phrase is ‘What goes around comes around,'” the actor added.
“I just hope it doesn’t interfere with him being elected out of office, that’s all.”
“I’m not a fan of his, as you can probably tell, and I just hope [Democratic presidential candidate Joe] Biden stays healthy and gets the presidency as quickly as possible,” he said.
“I think Trump is a catastrophe for America and the world.”
Rahim’s deleted tweet had said, “It’s been against my moral identity to tweet this for the last four years, but I hope he dies.”
She also tweeted a smiling selfie captioned “This f***ing rules.”
Her Twitter feed has now gone private.

How EVIL are these people?!?!?! I never wished any previous president would die. We always prayed for all of them. And I go way back. Truman was my first one. We prayed for all of them. I was never a democrat but it was HORRIBLE when JFK died!
They really are the culture of death!
The only reason why I’m glad that Trump got it is because it provides very public proof that the reaction to covid, of permanently locking down society until it goes away, is completely unwarranted.
I’m also glad that he’s getting better very quickly.
Such idiots will always be with us. My mother was a school teacher when JFK was shot, and a few of her students cheered. I was in elementary school when Reagan was shot and a few of my classmates cheered. I remember one kid saying, “He’s a rotten president.” That erudite political commentator was a 5th grader.
Simple socratic logic chain: Productive people get covid. Unproductive people don’t. Thus Democrats don’t get covid....unless they have been sleeping with a Republican.
Cong Jim Banks to Pelosi: “Your insinuation that anyone would deserve to contract COVID-19 is offensive and shameful..... we are writing to request you apologize to all those who have been directly affected by this devastating virus,” he added........arguing that by suggesting Trump was partially at fault for contracting the virus, Pelosi also insulted those who work where they are potentially exposed to COVID-19.

You and husband Paul own at least nine properties, valued at $18 million,” he continued.
“Accordingly, you may not understand the difficult position millions of Americans are in, having to choose between potentially exposing themselves and their families to the invisible threat of COVID-19 and paying the bills...... frontline worker has had to carry the burden of risk of coming home to their loved ones with COVID-19,” he wrote.
“On behalf of those millions of Americans, I formally request an apology for insinuating that those suffering from this illness are somehow at fault.....do not resort to victim-blaming during this difficult time in American history,” he added.
Let them have their little moment. It’ll make their despair all the more acute when he comes striding back, smiling, more peppy than ever.
Congressman Jim Banks, Republican from Indiana, thank you. I am glad someone has publicly called out Nancy Pelosi for her disgusting comments, blaming people who get coronavirus, for getting it. This is such a political disease.
I wonder if this lady was out there complaining ( screaming) to the police when antifa types were rioting.
Before I judge these two as being inappropriate or ghoulish, I have to be honest with myself.
If the tables were turned, I too would be “slightly leaping” for joy.

If this had occurred during the Obama years,
my mood would be close to festive. I’m not going to pretend to be shocked by their expressions of glee. We are a nation that is culturally At War.
....the carefully crafted and nurtured narrative is vaporized, and folks understand everything they were told for 10 months is a lie.

Anyone who wished this for a democrat, especially a non-White democrat, would have been banned from any public appearance, blackballed, fired, banned and shunned.
For Trump haters, it’s a career enhancer.
