“I’ve been predicting D+6 for months and it may go higher.”

I think that’s slightly pessimistic but there’s definitely a path to a bloodbath:

Republicans gain in Alabama, and then in other Senate races:

Colorado: gone, Democrat pickup for sure

Maine: gone, 90% sure

Arizona: gone, 80% sure

North Carolina: Dem pervert won’t lose a single vote over the recent revelations, whereas a Republican would have had to resign immediately if he had been caught doing this. Maybe Tillis squeaks this out, but it’s still in serious danger.

South Carolina: 50-50 at best for Light Loafers to be re-elected. He’s either the worst Republican candidate in that state in 20+ years (true), or the demographics of South Carolina are deteriorating quickly in some key areas (also true), or there’s a general trend to the left like everywhere else and like in 2018 (nah).

Iowa, Montana, Georgia x2: could be major trouble.

But surely some analyst will be along to declare that according to secret polls (and ridiculous assumptions) no Republican will lose anywhere, and we’re going to pick up Michigan, Minnesota, Atlantis, Oz, New York and several other fantasy lands. That would be very pleasant indeed, but most fantasy scenarios are.

Been on this board, a long time, and witnessed the the day after shell shocked reactions more times than I can count.

I would also say the the Shaheen re-election campaign in NH is dominating the airwaves (for anyone who still watches television), there is one annoying ad in particular I have seen 100 times, if you got your information from TV you would not know the name of her opponent (yes, I am voting for Corky Messner [whose real name is Bryant] on November 3).

The organized GOP (whether you call them RINOs or GOPe or whatever) has committed suicide by keeping their options open with regard to the Trump presidency (and being so obvious about it). Trump’s failure to form an Administration has not helped.

People here talk about the GOP like an organized party with ideas that appeal to voters. Nothing could be further from the truth.

It is a con game, a racket which in power exists to promote a financialized economy, backbreaking debt, globalization with accompanying destruction of the white middle and working classes, and foreign wars which operate against American interests.

Who in their right mind would vote for that?

Graham is got to be way better than 50%. Trump should carry the state by high single digits. I’m not aware of him trailing in any polls.

Same dynamic in Montana although the Dem is better known there.

The Georgia races, if they go to a runoff probably benefit Repubs if Biden wins.
