As usual to what I think is its (Summit News) agenda (it is a Russian backed outfit), the article in the New England journal of medicine is much more nuanced, as far as any mandate, than the article in Summit News implies.

We have mandates on many vaccinations for what has historically been high risk childhood illnesses, and during the time these mandates have been working we have nearly eliminated the occurrence of most of those illnesses. And those vaccinations of children do have a penalty for non-compliance - your kid can’t attend the school.

As the authors of the New England Journal of medicine pointed out, in their opinions, any penalties that went with any mandates for a Covid-19 vaccination should not be either criminal or fines. What they are suggesting is more like schools do to today - without the vaccine, the services or work you seek can’t be approved. Such penalties could actually be employed by employers without any legislation by anyone.

So what is Summit News doing? Trying to scare “the right”.

I have heard of this policy, but it makes no sense. If the vaccine does in fact work, then why would anyone care if someone chose not to get it. These kind of mandates makes many of us question if they don’t work, then what are they really giving us.
