An easy way to destroy leftists is just give them everything they ask for. More than 90% of leftists are concentrated into less than 10% of the land area. Just give cities unlimited power to tax and regulate, but just within city limits. That's a fate worse than nuclear attack.
Cities were developed to supply factories with workers, but all the factories have since moved out. Cities have no strategic value anymore. Steel and concrete devil dens are obsolete.
