What’s going to eventually happen is that Fox News Sunday will be losing ratings. When they reach the bottom of the barrel you will rumblings about a shakeup regarding Wallace.
Fox management will issue a statement that they still support him 100%. Then a few weeks later comes the coup de gras for Wallace. Then they will issue a statement saying something like “We appreciate all the fine work Chris has done for Fox. However we decided to go in a different direction.”
I believe they did this with Shep.
Walter Cronkite wasn’t a very keen judge of human character,
He misunderstood Buck Henry as a serious political force with SINA, which promoted the clothing of large animals. “A nude horse is a rude horse”. I wasn’t until a camera man recognized Buck Henry as a satirical writer who had a stint on the Today Show, when Cronkite was about to interview him as the president of the “Society of Indecency to Naked Animals”, (SINA), when his cameraman clued Cronkite in that the group was a political satire (1959-62).
LOL, reminds me of when Captain Jenks punked Peter Jennings during the OJ chase, Al Michaels finally had to clue him in.
He knows he #’d up, and is likely conflicted and dizzy.
