It’s been posted before how fast a sneeze or cough travels as a mist. Viruses are long lasting so any surface it lands on takes weeks to die.

We also know no one wants to wear a mask, while I don’t get out much I see how the are not on the face properly or they are just cloth, people with beards masks don’t fit right.

You can’t track hygiene habits either. It is one of the reasons Seniors use Internist, NO Kids who are not old enough to follow the basic rules. You can’t expect a 2 yr to follow even basics.

Virus requires Full Hazmat suits to be around. That is not going to happen in the workforce. Then the borders were NOT closed. Pence closed them Schumer & Pelosi will sue over it with their favorite lib judges. Keep letting Asymptomatic people in the country with out prior quarantine.

FEW remember Typhoid Mary. Just history buffs and those of us who had better educations i.e. ELDERLY. Good reason to kill us off. Once our Generation is gone NO one will remember what we have stored in our minds. Books have eliminated much of History.

I agree with a lot of what you say, but as for how long viruses stay alive on surfaces, it depends upon the virus. Hepatitis B, for instance, can stay alive on a dry surface for weeks and months, if I recall my microbiology correctly. I thought I read that Covid19 has a relatively short lifespan on surfaces, but then, one hears so many different things about it, there is really no way to tell which information is true.
