“Zinc, famotidine, melatonin and daily aspirin.”
Interesting that there is no Vit C, no NAC and no Quercitin in the cocktail.
Famotidine is an antacid. It previously was listed as optional in the East Virginia Medical School protocol, but the removed the word “optional” recently. It is part of the prophylaxis regimen as well as the treatment regimen.
I wondered the same thing, and why no curcumin? I hope they start with mega doses of fish oil about a week in.
Add-in 5,000mg Vit B-3, Centrum Multivitamin, 1,000 Vit C, and you got it.
Zinc without a zinc ionophore seems like they’re missing the point somewhat. I also hope the medical team is up to date on the timing of when certain elements of the treatment should be administered—antivirals during the viral replication phase and steroids not during that phase but later. Timing of various medications seems crucial with this disease if Dr. Marik is correct.

It is not exactly an antacid. It is a histamine-2 blocker. Chemistry is one of my weak points, but I do read that it has no effect on the cytochrome P450 enzyme system. If anyone here can explain how that would help, it would be great.
