Just the start of a huge slide. I took two-thirds of my stocks to cash last week; too many indicators of a crash coming in October. I just didn't expect it to happen on October 1st. If it starts to slide downward, my remaining one-third will be taken off the table. President Trump will pull through, and he will win re-election. Post-election, I jump back in to stocks. October will be a bad month.
Maybe, maybe not. My tech-heavy portfolio started down 4% this a.m. then rebounded and is up 1%. Two stocks, PLUG and SNAP hit new 52-wk highs. Agree dark clouds everywhere. Will take some off the top, which I failed to do in 2000.
