CIA Director Gina Haspel is personally blocking the declassification of documents detailing corruption at the highest levels of the intelligence community during the 2016 election, according to The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis.
While new information about wrongdoing at the FBI has recently been declassified, including recent revelations about Hillary Clinton campaigns collusion with Russia, Davis reported on Tucker Carlson Tonight Wednesday that Haspel herself is standing in the way of the declassification of other relevant documents.
...
Notably, Haspel was previously the London CIA station chief under former CIA director John Brennan during the 2016 election. Recall it was London where Christopher Steele was doing all this work, Davis said, noting Haspel was the main link between Washington and London at the time. Haspel was hand-picked by former CIA director John Brennan to run the CIAs operations in London, where she served as the spy agencys bureau chief from 2014 through early 2017.
...
When asked what top bureaucrats might be hiding in these classified documents, and what it would it would take to declassify them, Davis called on President Donald Trump to declassify everything so Americans can see the evidence for themselves.
So many of the people blocking these documents are likely implicated by them. You have these career bureaucrats whose careers may be destroyed by the facts within them, he said.
I think at this point, we need the president, Donald Trump, to step in and say, No more obstruction. No more blocking. We need transparency and the American people need to hear the truth.

I know freepers hate reality over politics but there could be a legitimate reason director Haspel has not released them
And neither has a Trump who has the power to
I admire your conference that the election won’t be stolen, or at least messed up irretrievably.
Well, there’s a point where optimism and naivete are indistinguishable...
Because Trump can’t get good nominees through the senate confirmation process.
Better a position sit vacant than nominate an enemy to the seat, IMHO.
Haspel is a different cat...she was deputy under Pompeo while he ran CIA, and apparently he thought enough to recommend her. She isn’t normal Ivy League appointee or swamp toadee someone brings in (Brennan)..she came up through field work, operations. Keeping an open mind for now..
I don’t recall this being mentioned when she was announced at being selected to lead the CIA: “Haspel was previously the London CIA station chief under former CIA director John Brennan.”
Because she literally knows where all the bodies are buried.
Theyll be just as boring and inconsequential then.
Possibly
He was on Tucker last night, saying the same thing. So now Trump directly knows. So many near him blow smoke up his butt. But he watches Tucker.
Gina Haspel and Wray are playing the same game. Cover it up.
Federal gub mint is horse crap.
Trump can order declassification, but she will simply not comply. Bureaucrats hold the power in DC...there is no penalty for insubordination if they are on the Dem side of the fence.
I wish I knew how to go back in an efficient way to my posts of two years ago.
At that time, I listed little Gina’s name as one to be watched. She had the “Wray Smirk,” and I thought she meant trouble for the President.
It took a long time for others in important positions to see it. She and Wray should go on the same day. That would make America so much safer.
They will be after President Trump is re-elected!
And, they are terrified!
BTTT
Trump did declassify them. This isn’t about declassification. This is about release. And that CIA Director isn’t going to release so much as a post-it note.
Trump released them all but they refused and he compromised and allowed a few of them to stay classified because they would effect some people still living. I first thought it was GHWB but since he died there must still be someone left.
That is what Clinton created Czars for.
