Folks tend to forget that not everyone is in Trump’s hardcore base and will go with him no matter what he says or does. Those votes are already in the bank.
The “soft” Trump voters, those who even voted Dem in previous elections but voted Trump in 2016 are what’s at stake here. They are “swingers” who decide many elections.
